The Brief

To find and purchase a secure apartment close to the city as a first home on a strict budget. Not wanting to spend unnecessary money on strata capital works.

The Result

Our client engaged Brady Marcs with a budget over the Government’s First Home Owner grant threshold, but was happy to find a property within the scope of the grant and use the additional funds to add value with renovations. After identifying an ideal apartment, due diligence ensured that strata capital works had been completed and there were no further works upcoming. We successfully negotiated a price lower than the original asking price based on the bathroom needing to be upgraded and that works were still under way in the building. The 1 bedroom apartment features elevated harbour views to the city skyline, undercover parking and additional storage, and is an easy walk to local shops, transport and amenities.
